Paddling for a purpose: raise donations to Turning Points for Children's

$750

raised by 9 people

$600 goal

On Saturday, June 6th,  TD Bank volunteers will be back to “Paddle with a Purpose” in the 2026 Independence Dragon Boat Regatta! Team TD won't just be paddling for a medal, but to help build brighter futures for children and youth who need people in their corner!

The Philadelphia-based Family Finding program, run by Turning Points for Children, connects each child with a network of supportive adults to foster a sense of belonging and develop permanent relationships, which build resilience for youth in or at-risk of being in foster care. The program highlights the critical importance of parents, relatives, and other caring people in maintaining cultural connections and serving as agents of change in children’s lives.

With support or connections found through Family Finding, the risk for incarceration, mental and physical health challenges, and homelessness in adulthood decreases. Since 2010, the program has located almost 200,000 connections, and 24,000 of them became a permanent fixture in the child’s life.

This is why we're "Paddling with a Purpose," because just one caring and consistent adult can change the trajectory for a young person in foster care.

lease join us in this effort by donating today. Your gift helps create stronger families and give children the hope for a brighter future.
