Hello friends and family,
This year will be my sixth year running the RTO race and my second year running it with the axe ALS foundation to support and raise money for Eric Stevens and everyone fighting ALS
Although I don’t know Eric incredibly well I can say that I got to know him when I was a young high schooler. I would go up to Cal Berkeley to see my brother and visit him. Eric was one of the most kind and welcoming people I have ever met and during his time at Cal he was so welcoming and kind to me as a high school kid. He made me feel like I was one of the guys, and I always appreciated it more than he knew.
I try to share Eric’s battle and his story with everyone in the fire community that I have the opportunity to share it with. Eric continues to fight and we are so happy to support in any way that we can.
