Today was one of the most important days of our mission. It feels like we're getting really close to something big, but the deadline of our assignment is fast-approaching... Knowing that we can't do this alone, we put up an X at our practice space, and Deep Throat came through with a crucial piece of information.

The Scullys exist because we want to raise money for LVGR: a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people of marginalized genders through music and art. Now that’s something to believe in!
The Scullys are one of ten bands raising money for LVGR in this year’s band factory. What’s a band factory, you ask? Think of it like a 5K but for music. We have two months to form an ENTIRELY new band, write 10-12 minutes of music, and play a show in November— all to fundraise for our youth camp, open to cis-gender girls as well as all trans & non-binary youth ages 10-17.
While we’re fundraising, writing songs, & getting ready for the show, we’ll also be competing to win prizes along the way for highest donations & most donors. And the grand prize? A session at a local studio to record our new tunes!
Now, here’s how you can help. If you got $1 to spare, send it our way! $5, $10, $20… every single donation makes a difference. And if you don’t have the cash? Spread the word about The Scullys to your friends and family. However you show your support, let us know loudly that You Want to Believe!
