100 Kids in 100 Days: Creating Safer Swimmers

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn how to swim.

Yet for many families in Miami-Dade County, the cost of consistent, high-quality swim lessons places this life-saving skill out of reach. Children who could greatly benefit from professional instruction often miss the opportunity to develop the confidence, skills, and water safety knowledge that can help protect them for a lifetime.

At Ripples of Impact, we believe financial circumstances should never determine whether a child has the chance to become a safer swimmer.

That is why we launched 100 Kids in 100 Days: Creating Safer Swimmers.

Our mission is to provide 100 income-qualified children with 25 professional swim lessons over a 100-day period. Through consistent, twice-weekly instruction, these children will build essential swimming and water safety skills that can make a lifelong difference.

Why This Matters

Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death among young children. While no single solution can prevent every tragedy, access to quality swim instruction is one of the most effective ways to help children become safer in and around the water.

For many families, the cost of ongoing lessons creates a barrier that is difficult to overcome. Your generosity helps remove that barrier.

How Your Gift Creates Impact

Our goal is to raise $25,000, which will be matched dollar for dollar by a generous private donor. Combined with family contributions and Ocaquatics' investment in the program, this campaign will create an $85,000 scholarship program that provides:

• 100 children
• 25 lessons per child
• 2,500 total swim lessons

Every community dollar is matched, doubling its impact and helping more children gain access to life-changing swim instruction.

Your Gift Goes Further

• $10 becomes $20 and helps fund one scholarship lesson.
• $50 becomes $100, helping provide five lessons.
• $100 becomes $200, helping provide ten lessons.
• $250 becomes $500, funding one child's complete scholarship through Ripples of Impact.
