Guatemala is a beautiful country with many hardworking, honest people.  This is true especially among the thousands of materially poor who live off the huge dump in Guatemala City.  Life is very difficult for them, yet they strive to improve their lives and the lives of their children.

That's where Casa del Alfarero (Potter's House) comes in. Casa del Alfarero runs "Vida Nueva" (New Life), a Guatemalan  Christian microfinance institution addressing the needs of the Guatemalan people. It has a Guatemalan board with Guatemalan management and staff. It extended an invitation to PEER Servants to partner with it in 2014, and the organizations have been working together to extend the kingdom of heaven to the people living off of the municipal dump.  Hundreds have already received loans that have enabled them to start small businesses and create jobs, but thousands remain to be served, including the materially poor beyond the dump.

Please click on "Fundraise" to the right and join Team Guatemala to raise $5,000+ to create opportunities for the people living off of the dump in Guatemala City. 100% of what we raise will go to Casa del Alfarero. You can walk right where you are when convenient with you, or join others on Team Guatemala.  Go to www.w4ee.org for a list of all of the Walk locations and dates.

If you have donors who prefer to give offline, ask them to make checks out to "PEER Servants" and give/mail them to you. Then just bring them to the Walk or mail them to PEER Servants at PO Box 258, Woburn, MA 01801. Please include a slip noting your name and the team you are on. You can also add the offline donations to your fundraising page to show the progress in meeting your fundraising goal.

May God bless you richly and multiply many times over what we can raise together to bless the Guatemalan people.
