Race for the Family® is a heartwarming family friendly event focused on increasing awareness about infertility and raising money to help infertile couples becoming loving parents! 2015 marks the tenth year that Shady Grove Fertility® is hosting the Cade Foundation Maryland Race for the Family® and Savannah’s Playground®. Our goal is to raise $150,000 and host 800 participants for this years event. Sign up today to participate or fundraise and help support families OVERCOMING infertility!
The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation Inc.® is a 501c3 tax exempt organization that was founded in 2005 by Drs Jason and Camille Hammond to support families struggling with infertility. Cade Foundation Inc.® provides free education focused programs throughout the country to inform families about their family building options (giving particular focus to adoption, foster care and fertility treatment as methods to building a family). The Foundation also provides Family Building Grants, awards up to $10k per family, to help with the costs of fertility treatment and adoption. To date- we have supported 46 families nationwide! An important way we raise money for the grants is through Race for the Family events. We have held 12 Race for the Family® events since 2006 and have planned over 10 exclusive events for 2015.
We are thrilled to partner once again with Shady Grove Fertility Center for the Maryland Race for the Family. With the assistance and support of Shady Grove Fertility- we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and in kind donations to support families from the Mid Atlantic region who are struggling with and OVERCOMING infertility!
