2019 National Longest Day of Golf

Tee It Up for the Troops is looking for golfers to participate in the National Longest Day of Golf for the Troops!  This event allows ANYone to support veterans from ANY location with ANY number of golfers.  

Proceeds from the National Longest Day of Golf for the Troops will help fund our REUNION Outreach Program that reunites combat veterans and their caregivers every January at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida.  Mental health professionals have touted the benefits of reuniting combat veterans with their comrades to discuss their days of service, injuries and post military struggles.  They still want to support each other, and the bonds forged in war serve to help them survive after returning home.  

To participate: 

1. Determine if you will participate as an individual, or if you will invite others to join you. 
2. Select a day; many choose a time around the Summer Solstice (Longest Day of the Year).   However, you can choose any day!
3. Contact a local and/or favorite golf course to inquire about hosting participants on the chosen day. 
4. Create an online account and collect donations/pledges from friends, family, co-workers, club members, etc to support your golf marathon efforts.
5. "Tee It Up" on your chosen day and play your Longest Day of Golf and support our REUNION Outreach Program!  

Prize package: 

1. Collect $350 or more in donations and receive a Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Shirt
2. Collect $750 or more in donations and you will also receive a Tee It Up for the Troops long sleeve pullover
3. Collect $1000 or more in donations and you will also be entered to win a 3-day, 2-night Stay & Play package at Reunion Resort, Kissimmee, FL
