30 Poems in November! is a fall tradition, a literary fundraiser in support of immigrant literacy.

Writers -- amateur, published, and everyone in between -- commit to write one poem every day in November.

Friends and family members pledge a dollar amount per poem to support their effort.

The result:

* Money for English classes, computer sessions, tutoring for immigrants.  Immigrants with English literacy can help children in school, apply for jobs, read the newspaper.

* Lots of new poems - some funny, some sad, some whimsical, many about the immigrant experience.

30 Poems in November! is the literary equivalent of a charity road race. Why should runners have all the fun!
