As an open-admission shelter, we are committed to providing a safe haven for animals in need, no matter their age, breed, or condition. Our doors are always open to all animals, regardless of whether they have been abandoned, surrendered, or found as lost pets. Annually, we accept over 4000 animals that depend on us for care, compassion and guidance as we determine what their next chapter may be.
Guided by our exceptional team (both paid staff and volunteers) of devoted and hardworking individuals, we dedicate ourselves to making thoughtful and ethical decisions for every animal we serve. We understand the weight of our responsibility in one of the toughest roles in the animal welfare community, and we embrace it with courage, resilience, and compassion.
Our mission is to provide love, care, and a voice for the forgotten, unwanted, misunderstood, and abused. We embrace the responsibility of giving every animal a fresh start, turning past hardships into opportunities for healing and hope. With an incredible team of dedicated individuals, we make thoughtful, compassionate choices to ensure each animal’s well-being and future. At the heart of CPASC is the belief that we can't save them all, but we can try.
