Each year, over 100 teens participate in Young Judaea's Alternative Winter Break (AWB) which is a week-long service learning program emphasizing Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), social responsibility and volunteerism. Each teens is responsible for paying his or her way including their flights to New Orleans, where we work within the community still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, the organization raises funds for major projects with partner organizations during the trip.
