Our Mission
Our mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to achieve their life goals by offering support that leads to greater independence, choice, and full participation and inclusion in the community.
We envision a diverse and equitable community in which all individuals with developmental disabilities are included, respected, and thriving.
Who We Are
Since 1953, The Arc of Riverside County has been committed to advocacy, justice, and improving the quality of life for people with IDD in partnership with their families and other members of their support team.
We are a private, non-profit corporation serving adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, a population typically underserved, overlooked and devalued by society. These are among the many reasons we take pride in providing much-needed services for these individuals; services including day program services, job training, self-care support, community support, artistic expression, personal development, mobility therapy, and much more.
