Art-a-thon 2020

ArtSeed's mission is to connect the most resourceful and gifted with the youngest and most vulnerable citizens of the Bay Area and beyond through projects that explore links between classical and cutting-edge fine art disciplines.

Signature Event: Art-A-Thon

Now in its 12th year, the ArtSeed Art-a-thon is an expression explosion for people of all ages and skill levels to come together and make art. On Saturday, April 25,  from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. each hour will be spent creating and raising funds to support ArtSeed’s unique arts education programs.

This year, we are expanding our online presence in response to public health concerns. The Art-a-thon has gone remote!  Please make a gift (even a small one) that can help turn a young life around toward greater possibilities! 

Prior to donating, please ensure your donation will be reflected in the current year.

Donating Online Is Easy. Here are 2 Ways: 

1) Find the name of the person you want to sponsor on the Art-a-thon 2020 Leaderboard above and click on it.  Next, you will see their personal fundraising page where you can donate.

 2) Alternatively, there is a "donate" button on the top of this page. Clicking it will allow you to search for the name of the person fundraising for Art-a-thon 2020.

Interested in joining a team and helping to raise funds?
1) Click the "Join this event" button above.
2) You will be prompted to sign-in. You can do this using your Facebook or Google accounts.
3) Click "Start a fundraiser" to continue. Please do not create a new team. If asked, returning fundraisers should "create a new campaign" for Art-a-thon 2020 and not use the old one they created in prior years. You also might need to verify your account by checking the email you used to sign-in.
 4) Customize your fundraising page by adding your own unique name, pictures, and stories to attract sponsors. Go to the editing tools on the left column to see ways of customizing your page (page editor), monitor your donations, and add offline donations and pledges (donation report), and other settings.

• Offline donations include checks and cash donations that were directly given to the fundraiser. To add your offline donations and pledges on Mightycause, sign-in and go to your personal fundraising page and click on the "dollar sign" on the left column, then choose "donation report”. Find the option to "add offline donations" and add the name of the person and the amount that was donated or pledged. Please collect the donors' contact information so we can follow-up and thank them afterward.

5) Click the "Publish" button (look for a rocket symbol on the left column) so you can be added to the Art-a-thon 2020 leaderboard above.

 6) You can now share your personal page by sending the link to your friends, family, and potential sponsors via email and social media.
