Asheville ROCKATHON - A musical fundraising campaign and concert to support GIRLS ROCK ASHEVILLE music camps for youth.
WHAT: Participants Form a Band, Raise Support, and Play a Show. The money they raise supports Girls Rock Asheville summer music camps for youth.
WHO: Women, trans, non-binary age 17 and up of ALL musical ability levels. We also welcome individuals of any gender identity to participate in more indirect ways. (i.e. band promoter, event volunteer, sponsor liaison, fundraising partner, stage team, etc.)
WHEN: ROCKATHON CONCERT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. CAMPAIGN IS STILL ACTIVE. ROCKATHON Participants are raising money NOW. They have formed their bands and are rehearsing for the show, which will have to be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
