Buddy Cruise is a non profit 501c3 charity that provides educational opportunities, awareness, inclusion and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome and ALL special needs. We host an annual conference at sea that includes a Buddy Walk! It is a really special awareness walk in that it encompasses all of the unique abilities within our event and has a huge impact on others on the ship, including the crew. In 2019 we met our goal for the FIRST TIME EVER! JOIN US as we aim to exceed that goal in 2020!
This year’s BuddyWalk® at Sea will take place during the 2020 Buddy Cruise® The purpose of this walk is to raise awareness and promote acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome. Our walk is comprised of individuals of ALL ages and abilities! JOIN US!
The Buddy Walk® was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
