What is Great Futures Week?
Boys & Girls Clubs across Atlanta are uniting for Great Futures Week 2021 - March 29 through April 2 - to showcase the potential of our young leaders and to highlight the vision our kids have for the future.
We’re asking for you to support and share our online fundraiser to help ignite the unlimited potential of young leaders! Your donation will help Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta continue to create opportunities and a platform for thousands of kids and teens to shine in school, the workplace, and beyond.
Why now?
Right now kids and teens are facing big challenges. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, many youth are dealing with the effects of academic backslide, the challenges of distance learning, working through trauma and are finding their voice to serve as advocates for a better future.
We need you now more than ever as we help our Club members and their families recover from the pandemic. Our doors are open again, but we new health and safety measures have increased our operating costs.
Here are 3 easy ways to participate in Great Futures Week:
DONATE NOW to ignite the unlimited potential of young leaders in your community! We need community members like you to step up and invest in the next generation of change-makers.
FUNDRAISE for the Clubs in your county! It’s time to compete! We have fundraising pages set up for each of our counties, and we’ll be giving away prizes for the county that raises the most. Help us reach our goal of raising $1,000 per county! Whether you are a volunteer, board member, staff member or parent, your gift can make a big difference. Every dollar matters!
SHARE a leadership lesson! Using the hashtags, #IgnitingLeaders, #GreatFuturesWeek, and #BGCMA, share the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a leader on social media. We’ll make sure thousands of kids across the city hear your words of wisdom. Don’t forget to tag us!
