Boldly Me is Changing Lives

One of Boldly Me's most popular programs is called BoldQuest, where a Boldly Me consultant (including the Founder, Alanna Powell) works with a team of high school seniors on a project that explores a current social issue and then presents it in the form of an interactive skit to many K-12 students.

It changes students' lives whether they are in the role of mentor or mentee. Here is what one BoldQuest student said of her experience:

"Help me understand why," is the one phrase that impacted me the most. Although these words were spoken to elementary students, this phrase has helped me communicate with other people through misunderstandings. I have passed this phrase on to people who are having trouble communicating.

The self-esteem classes conveys a very important message: "You are not alone." This is especially important for anyone who is dealing with depression, because they do feel alone on the world.

I believe that the classes I have taken for my experience will help those in need for a boost in their self-esteem.

You Can Help Us Keep Going

On Sunday, September 23, our team of fundraisers will walk, run and move around Lake Elizabeth in Central Park in Fremont, California.

Boldly Me Walkathon 2017Boldly Me Walkathon 2017

"Team Move" will walk for kids who suffer from anxiety or depression. They will walk for kids who need to change their negative thought patterns. They will walk for kids who are contemplating suicide or harming others.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to a team member (or to the general Walkathon fund if you don't know a particular team member) so we can continue to work with children who so desperately need the tools to cope with life's struggles and can't find or afford help anywhere else.

Last year we, raised more than $11,000.

This year, our goal is to raise $15,000.
