Young Life-South Side Chicago is a Christian based youth outreach organization serving the needs of the students in the Hyde Park/Bronzeville area. We presently have weekly meetings and discuss various topics. In the summer the students are able to attend camp in Minnesota. This is called “the best week of your life” by students that have previously attended. For some of our students who have never been beyond the Chicago area, this can be life changing. They meet with other students from other cities and states. They enjoy the outdoors and participate in character building activities.
Many of these children are unable to afford a summer camp on their own. They need fundraisers and assistance from the community to be able to attend. We are asking for your assistance. We are having our first ever Bowlathon on April 9, 2016 at UIC Bowling Alley, 750 S. Halsted.
