One 17 Challenge

The annual One 17 Challenge brings together people of all backgrounds to raise awareness for the injustices our students face and to raise financial resources for our work. This year, participants will complete a 1 mile barefoot walk and raise $117 to help fund tuition for students in Haiti and Cambodia. 

Our audacious, only God fundraising goal is $40,000!

About One 17 International

Thousands of children in Haiti and Cambodia are left out of school and experience barriers to reaching their full potential. One 17 fights for students who lack access to education and the Gospel by welcoming them into a loving school family and helping them to discover Jesus and who he created them to be.

In 2013, we opened our first school in the central plateau region of Haiti with 5 indigenous leaders serving 35 students. In 2019, our mission expanded and we opened our second school in Haiti while also starting work in Cambodia. During the 2019-20 school year, 501 students attended our schools and 47 indigenous staff found purpose and fulfillment serving on our teams.
