Changing Tides Day

Welcome to the second annual Changing Tides Day, NOVEMBER 17, a virtual fundraiser and day of awareness to support Changing Tides Foundation’s mission to empower women to protect the planet and promote inclusivity and diversity in and out of the ocean. 

The goal of Changing Tides Day is to focus CTF’s mission and programs and create a social media outreach and crowdfunding campaign where hundreds of brands, influencers, activists members and volunteers share what they love about CTF and why it’s important to donate to support our mission. The funds raised on Changing Tides Day will ensure that we can continue our work and grow our programs in 2022.

We are working on some exciting projects for 2022, like our first US-based Women’s Outreach Mentorship Program (WOMP) which will bring underserved and BIPOC teenage girls into the surf, will launch in the spring. We will also be creating Changing Tides Chapters, to engage more participants across the globe to activate our mission in their own communities. We will be doing more Surf Meetups, Gatherings and environmentally-focused campaigns, like Plant-Based March and Plastic Swear Jar Challenge and Cleanups, locally and globally. We will be reimagining our Community Compost Movement into a digital video series that will spread knowledge and education about composting far and wide. We will be expanding our Memberships Program, as well as hosting several local and virtual events centered around inclusivity and diversity and creating more Volunteer Opportunities and ways to get involved.
