Drive to End Hunger

Update posted 5 years ago

Our long-time friends and partners at Richard Childress Racing have generously donated $25,000 to Ozarks Food Harvest that will provide 100,000 meals to people in the Ozarks.

Help us match his contribution!

Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops is challenging our local outfitters to raise $12,500 to provide a total of 250,000 meals to families in the Ozarks.

For every $1 you donate, the company will double it with a $2 donation!

Since the onset of COVID-19 Ozarks Food Harvest has experienced a 60% increase in need for their feeding programs.

On behalf of everyone at Ozarks Food Harvest, thank you for your commitment to support the Weekend Backpack Program during Hunger Action Month 2020. Your generous gifts will help provide meals for at-risk students during the 2020-21 school year.

More than 1,600 children rely on this important program when school breakfast and lunch are not available. Your kindness and compassion will provide nutritious, child-friendly meals each and every weekend throughout the school year.

Presley, a student from Robberson Elementary shared, “Being hungry makes me feel sad because I can't eat enough so I can't really get A's on my school work. I don't have enough food to eat over the weekends. We don't have enough money to buy cereal and stuff to have for breakfast. It is hard to think about not having enough food at home. The food bag helps me because I want to get A's on everything. I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up.”

Your generous support helps children like Presley focus on being a kid instead of worrying about weekend meals.

Together, we are Transforming Hunger into Hope.
