The 2019 Love in Action Campaign is promoting a small revolution of kindness with a goal of supporting Common Heart's vision to eradicate food insecurity and eliminate generational poverty in Union County.
YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! Join with other volunteers and friends and take action to feed hungry families and empower those in poverty. Together we can create a sustainable community where all can thrive!

A gift of $25 feeds a family for a week
A gift of $100 keeps the lights on for a family in financial crisis
A gift of $250 trains a volunteer to be Ally in our Advocates for Change outreach
A gift of $500 supports an individual in Generational Poverty through our 18 week Getting Ahead program.
Common Heart is creating a small revolution of kindness in the Southeast Charlotte region to eradicate hunger and poverty. The "We've Got Talent!" event is a dinner and variety show competition on Friday October 11 at Weddington UMC Family Center. All proceeds will support Common Heart's seven food pantry outreaches and our programs to train and support families in poverty as they seek to create a new future story.
The doors will open at 6:15 pm and dinner begins at 6:30 pm. Dinner is an amazing buffet provided by 30 local restaurants. There will be a silent auction and our Common Things Thrift Store will be making great deals. The show starts at 7:15 pm. The winners will be voted on at 8:45 and the winners announced by 9 pm.
Invite your friends to support by donating to our cause, and coming in person on Friday October 11. We will be receiving contributions to support Common Heart's small revolution of kindness at the event. Your generosity will feed hungry families and empower families to rise out of poverty!
