Please join us for this year’s Evening for Haiti, as we honor progress and renew our commitment to the community of Petit Trou. This year’s virtual event will include words from our partners in Haiti, updates on several new initiatives, and an online auction to help support our programs. Special guests will join us to present this year’s Ted Lewis Award to four deserving recipients.

Locally Haiti (formerly known as the Colorado Haiti Project) invests in locally led initiatives in Petit Trou de Nippes, our partner community of over 30 years. Our programs are integrated across the sectors of education, agriculture, community health, and girls' empowerment. We’re committed to community-based work that places resources directly in the hands of Haitian leaders.

Each year we depend on Evening for Haiti, our major annual event, to fund important work in community health, education, agriculture and conservation, and girls' empowerment. This year, Haiti needs our support more than ever. Due to an increasingly tumultuous political situation in Port-au-Prince and the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on health and food systems across the country, rural communities are suffering. Our current initiatives — focused on food security and the intersection of health and agriculture — are critical to the families of Petit Trou, but we need your help.

We are deeply grateful for those of you who can make a financial gift to help us keep these initiatives moving forward. Regardless of whether or not you can support financially, please still tune in to Evening for Haiti — we'd love to introduce you to a group of extraordinary Haitian leaders, health workers, farmers, families, and students.
