Faces of Homelessness

In our 10 years of serving this community, we have transformed from offering a seasonal warm room to save lives in the harsh winter months to a comprehensive set of programs aimed at preventing homelessness and fostering independence. With your help we have come so far! 

Please join us at our Faces of Homelessness event on Nov 9th, 2025, at the Galilee Episcopal Camp and Retreat in Glenbrook. For a $75 or more donation, we will provide you with a ticket to this event. 

This important event features incredible speakers and a silent auction.

Dr. Catrina Grigsby-Thedford MPA, LSW, CADC-S, PRSS-S, Executive Director

Catrina experienced literal homelessness for 9 years. She received help from local organizations in Las Vegas and started to change her life for the better in 2009.

Catrina has 16 years of professional experience working with those experiencing homelessness. Catrina is a licensed social worker and certified drug and alcohol counselor. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Public Administration from UNLV. She received her Doctorate in Public Policy from UNLV in 2023.

As a person with lived experience with homelessness, Catrina is passionate about ending homelessness and is dedicated to collaborating with community partners who are working towards similar goals.
