GivingTuesday is a worldwide online charitable giving event that takes place each year right after Thanksgiving - think of it as a healthy way to balance out all of that shopping with a little giving back. For many people, it marks the start of the season of giving.
Since the pandemic began, School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County has worked tirelessly to ensure that low income families have access to the care they need. Last year we used our GivingTuesday funds to lend a hand to struggling families by purchasing health care related services or items not otherwise covered by insurance.
It was a smashing success!
