Every day, over 223,000 Western Mass residents struggle to put food on the table. With state unemployment rates reaching historic levels during the pandemic and access to food a growing concern, essential social services, like The Market at Gray House, are more critical than ever. Please support our neighbors in need by helping to fill their plates with healthy, nutritious food as they navigate through this crisis!

Our agency is committed to addressing food insecurity by providing households with nutritious groceries through the Market at Gray House. Throughout 2020, The Gray House has served an average of 798 families every month through no-contact, curbside food distribution. From March 2020–August 2020, we have served 135% more households compared to the same time period in 2019. As our community and country continue to address the crisis at hand, these numbers are steadily growing, yet the resources to meet these needs are rapidly diminishing.

Since beginning our Fill the Plate, Feed a Family Challenge in 2015, we have raised over $65,000. Not only has this funding proved essential in allowing our agency to evolve and improve our food assistance services, but is also the leading reason why we were able to rapidly adapt our distribution method in March 2020 without any lapse in service due to COVID-19.

Please consider making a donation to our Fill the Plate, Feed a Family Challenge today. The money donated will be leveraged to provide people in our community with essential, life sustaining groceries. Encourage friends to join you in donating by taking a photo of yourself with an empty plate, representing all of the families that would go hungry without your support, and sharing on social media. Help us fill those plates by making a donation today!
