GivingTuesday is a worldwide, online charitable giving event that takes place each year right after Thanksgiving - think of it as a healthy way to balance out all of that shopping with a little giving back. For many people, it marks the start of the season of giving.
Since the pandemic began, School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County has worked tirelessly to ensure that low income families have access to care - pivoting virtually overnight to consolidate resources and completely retool the way we provide services to guarantee safe, accessible and high quality services for our patients.
Today, we are continuing our efforts by raising money to provide medical care for families that do not have health insurance or financial resources to pay for care. We estimate that $20,000 raised will provide medical care for 200-300 patients.
