October 23, 2021 6pm to 8pm at Bello Vita Venue and Virtually

The Source's 2nd Annual Halloween Gala, presented by Tucoemas Federal Credit Union, is our fresh and inclusive update of the traditional nonprofit fundraising gala. The purpose of the Halloween Gala is to raise funds to sustain operations of one of our nation's fastest-growing LGBTQ+ centers, The Source LGBT+ Center is located in the conservative and rural South Central Valley of California. What's different about our gala are costume contests, tables made up of teammates, escape rooms, and the ability to fundraise on your own or with someone else to earn your way into the gala AND earn additional valuable prizes. Like other galas, there will be highlights of our work, an honoree, auctions, food, drinks, and drag queens. Last year people wrote and phoned us to say how much fun they had. This year will be even better with the option to attend in-person or virtually with our interactive technology.

In order to attend the gala, all you need to do is raise $125 a person, but there are additional prizes if you exceed that goal!

Join us to support LGBTQ+ people with programs such as:

  • HIV pharmacy program and peer-support groups
  • Youth groups and activities
  • Transgender resources and support,
  • Free Mental Health Services
  • Cultural competency trainings for government agencies, businesses, and other orgs
  • COVID Relief programs such as "Food Box Fridays"
  • And The Source LGBT+ Center's new buildings, which we will own as of August 2021!!  Our new home is being updated and furnished.  Your support in the gala will make this HUGE milestone a turning point for our LGBTQ community in Tulare/Kings Counties: A visible, central and permanent center!

As mentioned, we will have identical virtual and in-person options for attendance. We will be following CDC guidelines for COVID-19 and posting updates for how we plan to keep the in-person experience safe. Depending on the state of the pandemic, these accommodations might include mandatory masking, limiting the capacity for in-person seating to teams of 8, vaccination proof, and other adjustments. We appreciate your understanding and we are looking forward to an exciting, fun, and safe experience for everyone!
