Helping Horses Help Kids & Others Event
Once a year, Central Ohio comes together to support and celebrate our unique therapy programs that combine horses, counseling and nature. The Helping Horses Helps Kids & Others Charity event is the largest provider of the essential funds needed to offer affordable mental health services to all that need it in our community.
This year we face a great challenge as more children, adults and families reach out for therapy while funding sources offer less support. Your generosity ensures we never have to turn away those with financial hardships from this essential healthcare.
Please join us as a participant in the Helping Horses Help Kids & Others Charity Bracket featuring the cats, pigs, donkeys and horses that are working hard to help mend our community. Help your favorite team move to the next round by donating. The final two teams will face off live at our in-person event. The schedule is posted below.

PBJ Connections offers a variety of innovative programs to benefit mental wellness in central Ohio including: Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups, office counseling and teletherapy, wellness workshops open to the community, intensive programs to address trauma and expressive arts programming.
PBJ Connections knows effective therapies change lives and does not turn away families due to financial struggles.
Bracket Schedule
Round 1 opens for all 8 teams on August 20th. Each team will be featured for one week.
Round 1 closes for all 8 teams on September 16th
Round 2 consists of the final 4 teams and starts on September 17th
Round 2 will close at the closing of the silent auction during the live event. The final 2 teams will face off during a live auction to declare the winner of the Helping Horses Help Kids & Others Charity Bracket.
