We are asking you to support EENC Board Members in our vision of creating a world where our children are surrounded by environmental education!
The 2016 Environmental Educators of North Carolina Crowdfunding Event will support EENC as it moves into the future. There is considerable positive energy supporting environmental education at both the national and state level, and EENC is preparing to lead these efforts. The funds raised will help to:
* Position EENC at the forefront of the state’s efforts to secure federal funds from the Every Student Succeeds Act, which provides support for environmental education and hands-on, field-based learning experiences,
* Compete in the ee360 grant program, enabling us to help bring additional high-quality environmental education to North Carolina's educators in formal and non-formal settings, and
* Provide resources that will allow EENC to increase day-to-day operations to help us fulfill our mission of building connections, providing professional development, and promoting excellence in environmental education.
These are exciting times for the field of environmental education and your donation will help EENC be prepared to take advantage of all of the future opportunities and become an EE leader in the state and southeast.
