I started Karaoke for a Cause in 2017. I wanted to think of a fun way to raise money for a good cause. I have little shame and love to sing, so I thought, "Why not have people ask me to do mediocre karaoke for them?" Then, an event was born!
The first year, I barely raised $250 dollars. The next $400, then we SKYROCKETED to $6,000, then $11,000, and last year, we raised over $20,000!!
