History
The Northern NJ Chapter of NAASC's Scholarship Fund was established in 1976 to provide financial assistance to New Jersey women attending Spelman College.  Recipients possess strong academic & community service credentials and a demonstrated financial need. Awards, which can be one-time or renewable, are given annually to women from all over the state.

Through our fundraising efforts over the years we have been able to award over $225,000 to nearly 100 students and also contribute $50,000 to our endowed scholarship which was established at Spelman in 2006 in honor of the college's 125th anniversary.  This new campaign will allow us to continue helping our little sisters in need.
