Create or Join an existing March Team! 1 in 4 people are affected by mental illness. Your Support Matters!

NAMI Boise will have its 2nd Annual Mental Health Awareness March on Saturday, September 26th. We will gather at 2:30pm at the starting point located at the Idaho Anne Frank Memorial and march to Idaho’s Statehouse.

We will march down the corridor of downtown Boise on Capitol Blvd. making our way to the Capitol Steps for special presentations.

Why we march?

In Idaho, lack of funding and the low priority given to mental health, along with the growing number of people facing mental illness with inadequate assistance, continues to lead us to a burgeoning crisis. We march down the corridor of our Capitol city to the Statehouse where lawmakers will decide next year whether we can do the right thing to assist those living with mental illness, their families, and for our whole community.

How you can help!

Raising funds allows NAMI Boise to continue providing the free programs and classes and allows expansion of those programs throughout our community. We need sponsors and March teams to generate funding that helps so many within our community get the help that they deserve.  So we are asking you to continue assembling your groups and teams, getting donations and to join us in a day dedicated Mental Health Awareness.
