See the latest Paddle-a-thon leaderboard to check on the competition in each category!

Paddle-a-thon continues through October, so keep in mind:

📍Anyone can participate in Paddle-a-thon! No matter where you live or what kind of paddlecraft you're using, you are welcome to join the fun.

🛶 Paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, rafting and other non-motorized paddlecraft qualify as paddling.

🎁 Paddle for prizes!

Certain prizes are only available to members of our partner community paddling groups: Georgia Canoeing Association (paid membership required for prizes), Middle Georgia Kayaking Facebook group, Atlanta SUPper Club Facebook group, Georgia Kayak Fishing Facebook group, and Kayak Georgia Facebook group.

Paddle Your Rivers. Protect Your Rivers.

Join Paddle-a-thon, a paddling competition and peer-to-peer fundraising event that gives paddlers a way to protect their waterways while exploring Georgia's rivers in 2025.

January through October 2025, individuals and teams have the opportunity to compete for grand prizes in categories such as "Most Miles Paddled," "Most Money Raised," and "Most Trash Collected".

The goal: connect more people to Georgia's rivers and raise funds & awareness for Georgia Rivers conservation and recreation projects.

Click on the Tabs above to learn how to get started, competition details and more! If you're on mobile, scroll up to where you see "Story" and scroll right to see the other tabs. Georgia Rivers recommends completing your registration using a computer rather than a mobile device.

Pro tip: Use the Georgia River Guide app to plan your paddle trips!
