$4,174 Raised!
Whew - Pedal, Paddle, or Plod is complete! We didn't QUITE reach our $5,000 goal ($4,174 raised) but we were SO close. When combined with the funds from a recent letter to our donors, we have the $5,000 we need for the project in Borneo and are excited about that.
Prizes will be announced shortly on the PPP Facebook Page and winners will be contacted as well. THANK YOU so much to everyone who participated!

Enjoy your favorite outdoor activity and protect endangered species at the same time.
All you have to do is register, receive your free bandana, and choose an outdoor activity. Then get moving!
What will you choose?
After registering, you'll also have the option to help conservation even further by fundraising as an individual or by starting a team. Tell your friends and family what you're doing, and invite them to support your efforts. They'll be inspired by you, and maybe Aunt Mary will decide to go on a hike for conservation herself, too!

Community-based conservation is a way to protect biodiversity in which local people participate as much as possible. In this approach, scientists work alongside the communities actually living with rare habitats and endangered species.
Community Conservation Inc. has been working with communities all around the world for over 30 years. We've partnered with over 200 villages in 14 countries and together we've protected over 1.24 million acres.
We hope to raise enough at this event to fund our upcoming project in Borneo. In order to protect orangutans and other endangered species, we are planning to train local women in wildlife monitoring and conservation.
