For the last ten years, the gentlemen of the Delta Alpha Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity (PIKE) at the George Washington University (GWU) have worked diligently to raise funds and spread awareness for the DC Firefighter's Burn Foundation - a local, 501(c) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn survivors in the D.C. Metropolitan Area.

PIKE at GW, with the help of the incredible GW Panhellenic sororities, has raised over $300,000 since 2004. Fireman’s Challenge is an event which unifies students, university faculty, parents, businesses, and alumni in order to help those who have been adversely affected in our community. This is an event which is held near to the hearts of so many members of our community, and that is why the brothers of the Delta Alpha Chapter continue to promote this worthy cause.
