Rock Roulette 2020

• GRNC is a nonprofit based in the Triangle area of North Carolina that works to amplify the voices of and empower girls, women, & folks of marginalized genders, through creative expression & music, to be more confident & engaged members of their communities.

We accomplish this by focusing on social justice, collaboration, and the courage it takes to wield our own powerful voices. We are an ever-growing  community of educators, activists, musicians, social workers, artists, learners, & people who want to envision a world free of gender-based oppression.

GRNC runs youth & adult programs year-round. Our main programs are our summer day camps, our teen-organized overnight camp, our middle school GRNC After School program, & our Rock Roulette program for adults.

Many of our programs involve assigning participants to a band, where they will write original music together & finally perform at a local venue — which is exactly what our grown-up participants are doing during our fourth annual Rock Roulette!
