TEAM MFP: RUNNING TO END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS
For the 3rd year in a row, My Friend’s Place has been selected as an official charity team for the Los Angeles Marathon, taking over the city on November 7, 2021. We’ll be pounding the pavement from Dodger Stadium to the Avenue of the Stars in Century City in a collective effort to raise support and awareness for youth experiencing homelessness. A number of My Friend’s Place staff and volunteers have already committed to joining Team MFP, and we'd love for you to join us in supporting youth experiencing homelessness by making a gift of support to one of our awesome runners!
ABOUT MY FRIEND'S PLACE
For 33 years and counting, My Friend’s Place has been assisting and inspiring homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. My Friend’s Place offers a comprehensive continuum of services to homeless youth between the ages of 12 and 25, and their children, helping young people experiencing homelessness to move toward wellness, stability and self-sufficiency. My Friend’s Place is committed to a trauma-informed, harm-reduction approach and low-barrier service model that emphasizes the value of each individual young person who walks through our doors.
