The Jesuit Christian Service Program provides students opportunities to engage in service within a context that calls for solidarity with people in need. It complements the academic curriculum by providing experiences that enable students to recognize the dignity and vlue of each human being and to live out the gospel message of love, service and community through direct action.
Students will partner with Esperanza (www..esperanzaint.org) and families who have made their own concrete blocks to build block houses. They will work incredibly hard, live simply, experience the culture of Tijuana, and end each day with prayer and reflection.
Please consider joining us in this ministry by donating toward the supplies we will purchase and supporting the work of Esperanza in Tijuana. We also ask for your prayers as we undertake this work and experience service and solidarity with our neighbors to the south.
