The #RaisetheRim virtual Trail-a-Thon gives you the opportunity to support the trails you love while out in the beautiful Tahoe backcountry. During the month of August, you can turn the time you spend enjoying trails into much-needed funds for the TRTA! Challenge your friends and family to help you preserve our backyard playground.
It’s easy to get started!
- Sign-up!
- Click the “Join this Event” button above.
- Start an individual fundraiser or create a team and challenge your family and friends to join you in raising money!
- Customize!
- Tell your story. Show the world how much you love the TRT and what it means to you.
- Change the title and cover photo to show your own unique flare.
- Set a goal for your page. You can tie it to the amount of miles you plan to hike in the month of August or to the TRT itself. For example:
- “I want to raise $5.00 for every mile I plan to hike this month, with a goal of 40 miles!”
- “I want to raise $165. $1 for every mile around the Tahoe Rim Trail”
- “I want to raise $500. $1 for every 1,000 people that visit the Tahoe Rim Trail every year.”
- Be sure to hit publish when you are done!
Note: Your mileage/activity/goal does not need to take place on the TRT.
