Magee Rehabilitation is proud to announce that it will be holding the 2nd annual Walk It Out: 24 hour Challenge Sat July 19th-Sun July 20th. This year the walkathon will take place simultaneously at 12 different sites across the country as party of the Team Reeve “Walk to Victory over Paralysis”.  All proceeds will benefit the Team Reeve NeuroRecovery Network and Magee’s Locomotor Training Clinic.

The Walk It Out: 24 Hour Challenge is a 24 hour Step-A-Thon fundraiser in which current and former patients will walk (assist provided by therapists as needed) on a treadmill in the Locomotor Training Clinic for 24 hours continuously. Participants will be assigned to a 30-60 minute block of time. Participants can bring a friend or family member or will be provided with a “buddy” that will walk on a standard treadmill during rest periods to ensure that a treadmill will be running throughout the 24 hours.

The 1st Walk It Out Challenge was held last year at Magee and was a huge success thanks to the unbelievable support of the participants and their friends and family members. With your help we hope to make this year even better!
