Dear Wasatch Donors:
Thanks to your efforts and your help, we not only met our $40,000 goal for our Annual Fall Fundraiser for the Arts, WE EXCEEDED IT. We raised $45,440! This is huge given the kind of year that 2020 has been and we couldn't be more grateful for each and every dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and penny we received.
The money raised will keep our Arts & Education program thriving - even during the pandemic! - by supporting our arts specialists, paying for arts supplies, and pumping funding into specialty arts and education programs, platforms and specialty activities - including in math and science.
Congratulations to THIRD GRADE for winning the "Most Amount Raised" and to FIRST GRADE for a last-day "come from behind" effort to win "Most Number of Donations/Donors".

WE NEED THE ARTS
Fall Fundraiser for the Wasatch Elementary Arts & Education Program
2020 has thrown us all for a loop. But these challenges won’t stop our focus on an arts-integrated curriculum.
Please join us as we raise $150 per student in just 10 days!
NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL.
Wasatch Elementary's most defining feature is our focus on an arts-integrated curriculum. Dance, music, drama and the visual arts all play a part in our students' overall learning and academic achievement. The funds raised go to guest artists, arts supplies, props for drama productions, art specialists' salaries, and arts-based field trips, Family Art Night, Town Meetings (performances), the School Plays AND other educational programs in math, science and reading that we couldn't offer students without the support of these funds.
Our students may be attending class online only so far this year, but that hasn’t stopped our amazing Wasatch teachers from delivering our renowned arts program in creative ways including: online Drama Club and virtual plays using Flipgrid; at-home Zoom art projects with supplies provided by Wasatch; Zoom dance sessions; and for older grades, project-based learning in groups to create a dance video to share with the Wasatch community.
How to Donate to a Particular Grade

How Much Do I Give?
Our general school budget doesn’t cover the $150 per student needed to support this program - that's more than $60,000 a year.
Every dollar we receive matters. The more people who give just a little bit, the closer we get to our goal. We receive $1, $5, $25, $100, $500 or even $1,000. You choose the amount and you'll get our heartfelt thank you and a tax receipt as the Wasatch PTA is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation.
Overwhelming success!
Five years ago we changed the way we fundraise for our school. Instead of students selling products like cookie dough or wrapping paper and only getting 50% or less of what we raised, we launched an online fundraising campaign and asked as many supporters as we could to join our community and donate online. With straight online fundraising, we keep at least 97%+ of the funds raised!
Art has invaded every corner of our school and we have hundreds of parents, neighbors, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, staff and friends to thank for helping to make it possible.
In each of the past four years we've raised nearly $50,000 from 450 donations from people living in over 30 different states across the country. OUR WASATCH COMMUNITY IS STRONG & VAST!
