Our goal is to raise $500 per homeroom teacher to go towards our awesome school!

5th Grade - 12 PM to 1 PM

6th Grade 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM

What is this Fundraiser for?

This year the Wilson's Creek PTA will be hosting a Color Fun Run Fundraiser to help with playground improvements, quarterly celebrations, and the PTA general fund. The theme this year at Wilson's Creek is "Teamwork makes the Wilson's Creek Dream Work." We need the help of every student, family, and teacher at Wilson's Creek to help us reach our goal. Money raised will go towards:

*Playground improvements such as a shade structure, Gaga Ball pit, and/or Volleyball court (exact items are subject to change)

*General PTA fund going towards Quarterly Celebrations, Student Events (such as mixers,) and Teacher Appreciation

What is a Color Fun Run?

This will be an interactive event to promote health, fitness, and fun while raising funds for our school. The event will include music and challenges along the way to keep the participants engaged. All Wilson's Creek students will get the opportunity to participate in the fun run and get a popsicle at the end of the event.  Participants are encouraged to wear crazy socks and have crazy hair the day of the event. We will use non-toxic powder chalk for our event. We will have five color stations along the track where parents\grandparent\or other adult volunteers as well as other students can toss colorful chalk at the participants as they are running by. While the colors used in the color run are washable, please have students wear clothing that is suitable for this type of activity. Students will be provided a shirt to wear the day of the event which will include the name and/or logo of the business sponsors for the event. If you are interested in becoming a business sponsor for this event contact the Wilson's Creek PTA at wilsonscreekpta@gmail.com before September 21, 2022. Every participant will be asked to bring a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyes. Participants may bring a mask or bandana if they wish to wear over their mouth and nose as they run. Families and students are encouraged to purchase color chalk from the PTA at the event to throw on the participants - more information regarding chalk sales will come home at a later date. 

Our Goal and How to Donate

Each classroom has a goal of $500 that they are trying to reach. Classes will get to earn prizes through out the fundraiser by meeting each level as a team.  The levels and prizes include:

$175 - Bronze Level (Earns lunch outside)

$300 - Silver Level (Earns a 30 min. extra recess)

$500 - Gold Level (Earns Intramurals in the Gym)

The classes that meet their goal of $500 will get their teacher's name placed into a drawing for a special prize. 

The top two classes that raise the most money per grade level will get to have a Color Chalk Ball game with the other winning classes in their grade. The Color Chalk Ball game will consist of color pouches to throw across to the other team instead of plain balls. The other classes will watch the Color Chalk Ball game and cheer them on. Prepare to be colored!

Each morning Dr. Christy will announce the classes that have met a new level. Prizes earned will be culminative. 

How to Donate to a Particular Class: 

1. Click/tap on a Class above in the Leaderboard and donate though the class page

OR

2. Click/tap on the blue donate button and when prompted, write in the class you want your funds to go toward. 

OR

3. Send in cash or a check with your student in a envelope with the teacher's name and label for PTA on the front. 

How to Donate to More Than One Class:

Repeat above steps 1 or 2 for every Class page in which you want to donate. The transactions will be separate. 

Don't want to Donate Online?

Send in cash or check (Made out to Wilson's Creek PTA) to the school in an envelope marked with the teacher's name and attention PTA.

How Much do I Give?

Any amount makes a difference. Can you give $5, $25, $50. $100, or even $500? You choose the amount and you'll get a heartfelt Thank you along with a tax receipt because Wilson's Creek PTA is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation.
