At Stocks in the Future, we know that knowledge has the power to change lives for generations.
For more than 20 years, we have brought financial literacy programming to Baltimore-area schools, teaching at-risk students about finances, business, mutual funds and stocks. Our incentive-based curriculum, designed by Johns Hopkins University, provides a cash incentive for good attendance and grades. As Stocks in the Future dollars build they are converted to real money and invested in the market.
It is a program that motivates young people to aim high and imagine a better future for themselves. It is a program that gives these students the tools needed to reach their dreams.
Each year, about 1,000 Baltimore-area students learn about investments through SIF and see first-hand that hard work and financial savviness pay off.
