Dec 8th: Foraging Hike + Wreath Making Workshop

Introducing our first-ever community enrichment program! We hope to see you for wreath-making on December 8 at 1pm at the barn at Lazy J Tree Farm. 

Join our staff and partners at Lazy J Tree Farm for a day of wreath making with natural materials! You’ll experience a guided foraging hike with Teacher Moya and return to the barn for an afternoon of cider and wreath making.

The cost of this workshop is $65 for a 12'' green wreath and $75 for an 18" gold hoop wreath, all priced per wreath (couples and families can come together and make one wreath, or purchase a wreath per person). We will provide: wreath frames, tools, conifer boughs, ribbon, dried fruit, and whatever additional items you'd like to forage while hiking!

Plan to dress for the weather (rain gear, waterproof boots, hats, gloves, etc) and bring any additional materials you'd like to include in your decor if you're going for a theme. 

Olympic Nature Experience is a nonprofit outdoor school serving Clallam County since 2014. We are looking forward to truly providing immersive outdoor experiences for our whole community through our new adult and family-centered enrichment programs. We are still developing this program but we hope to offer more nature immersion classes like this one soon!
