Welcome Friend,

Over the past six years, our generous supporters have enabled 2,559 classroom programs and field trips reaching 61,433 children. Most of the $750,000 necessary to do this was raised at our annual Wake Up to Nature breakfast.

This memorable breakfast — because of you — has made a lasting and tangible impact on the children in our valley.

As you know, this year we will not gather in person because of the coronavirus. Instead, we are recreating the experience of our event for you here, online.

We have also lost a part of our school program revenue this year. That is why we are reaching out in a different way for the support we need to keep going.

Your support will ensure that the EV can continue to provide nature programs and science education to 8,500 school children each year.

From all of us, for all of us,
The Environmental Volunteers

A connection with nature promotes wellbeing.

Please enjoy this offering of comfort and hope through a song from Nancy Cassidy to set the mood. Nancy Cassidy is a multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and a longtime supporter of the EV.

Leading Foundations back our programs!

The Morgan Family Foundation and the Eschenbach Family Foundation have endorsed our programs with gifts of $25,000 to this year’s Wake Up to Nature Campaign.

Lisa Downey, Program Director at the Morgan Family Foundation, believes support for nature-based environmental education, and outdoor experiences, are vital.

Your generosity will ensure that students will have hands-on environmental science lessons and nature field trips.

Please make a donation as you would have at the breakfast.

Inspiring the next generation to love nature

Every year Environmental Volunteers supports 300 teachers and over 7,000 students with their proven “Educate for Action” curriculum which includes hands-on learning experiences. Trained volunteers work with students in small groups to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Many Bay Area students have never seen the redwoods or the ocean!

Your gift can change that.
