On August 25, 2025, Maisie Marsau’s life changed in an instant when a massive tree fell onto her car as she drove through her Dallas neighborhood. Maisie survived, but sustained a life-altering C5 spinal cord injury—just six months after becoming a mom to her beautiful daughter, Evans.

Since that day, Maisie and Jack have faced an unimaginable road—but they have never faced it alone. Their families and closest friends have surrounded them with extraordinary love, strength and support, becoming a force behind every step of Maisie’s recovery.

At REACT, we’ve had the privilege of joining that incredible community and watching Maisie fight for every bit of strength, movement and independence. The milestones may look small to the outside world—a little more control of her arms, a movement she couldn’t make before—but to Maisie, they represent something much bigger: doing more for herself, being more independent, and continuing to reclaim everyday moments with Evans.

Now, that same community is coming together again.

Join us for the May May Strong Pickleball Tournament at Banner House—a day of competition, connection and purpose as we rally around Maisie and raise critical funds to help continue her recovery journey.
