The mission of the 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, Inc. is to provide support and improve the quality of life for African Americans, and youth in particular, in New Orleans. The Chapter addresses four key areas to strengthen the future of our community: Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, Economic and Empowerment. The Brothers of the 100 focus educational and economic resources toward our city's students and future leaders to empower the city's challenged communities.
Chartered in 1992, The 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, Inc. is a member of the international 100 Black Men of America, Inc., which was founded in 1963. The Metro New Orleans Chapter is one more than 100 chapters in the United States, the Caribbean and England.
The Metro New Orleans chapter is a coalition of some of New Orleans' most committed men, who strive to empower the city's challenged communities.
