11 Th Hour Theatre Company

11th Hour Theatre Company was first envisioned by Michael Philip O'Brien and Steve Pacek, Philadelphia natives who met at Ithaca College. After their graduation from college, O’Brien and Pacek immersed themselves in the New York Theater scene, but were quickly drawn back to Philadelphia by the rich and vibrant artistic community. They sensed that this city would be the perfect environment for them to generate new and innovative works of Musical Theater. Together with director, Megan Nicole O’Brien, these artists created 11th Hour Theatre Company in November of 2003.

Since its inception, 11th Hour has produced twelve full-scale musicals, seven of which were Philadelphia premieres. In a short amount of time, this organization has established itself as a company committed to producing high quality musical theatre that favors intimate, story driven work over flashy, spectacle driven musicals. Their devotion to strong narratives and virtuosic music has garnered much acclaim.
