The purpose of the Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation is to raise funds and resources for the overall improvement of your Nebraska State Fair. Each and every time you make a charitable contribution to the 1868 Foundation, you are making a lasting impact on your Nebraska State Fair!

The Nebraska State Fair runs the last week of August and comes to a close on Labor Day. This iconic 11-day event attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and showcases the best of our great state's agriculture, industry and culture. Its importance to the economic vitality of Grand Island and central Nebraska is unmatched. Over 4-million visitors have passed through the gates of the Nebraska State Fair since its move to Grand Island in 2010.

With a history older than the state itself, the Nebraska State Fair combines tradition with innovation to produce an educational and exciting event for the entire family! The future is bright for the Nebraska State Fair - and with continued support, the 1868 Foundation will continue to grow and flourish.
