Heart of the Arts Inc DBA 1912 Center

The richness of life lies in experiences—opportunities to grow, learn and share. And the venues where people gather to share those experiences are treasures to their communities.  The 1912 Center, run by Heart of the Arts, Inc. (HAI) for the community of Moscow, provides its region with an accessible, multigenerational, beautiful and historic place to gather to share the human experience.  In the digital age, connection, in person, is more important than ever before.  By renovating the remaining two unfinished floors at the 1912 Center, we can add value to the community, keeping a very important part of Moscow's past for future generations to enjoy in the process.

Perhaps you went to school here.  You learned skills and met people who shaped your life here.  Maybe you grew up or lived in this town for years.  You walked past this historic brick building countless times and its beauty enhanced your stroll.  Maybe you celebrated a milestone here, shared a laugh with new friends during a non-profit fundraiser here, listened to an inspiring performance here, attended a free senior meal here, learned something new during a lecture here, learned CPR here or had your taxes done for free here.  The 1912 Center was here for you. 

Now in its second century, we want to pay this treasure of a building forward for those who have yet to gather, experience or learn here, and offer them a home.  A place to share with the community.  This can be our legacy.  We care that people have just the right spaces to come together when they need them.  You can make that possible.  You are invited to join us.
